Salary

We always aim to reward through competitive rates and hence have introduced a progressive scale for all levels of our staff so that salary is linked with experience, personal development and responsibility.

Bonus

At HBS we undertake annual planning and delivery objectives with all our branch managers and staff at the start of each year.  These plans also integrate a healthy and varied level of bonuses for achievement and delivery of financial and non financial targets.  We believe in shared rewards and team work so our bonuses are not just aimed at specific individuals but shared across all the staff within the branch.

Pensions

HBS believe in providing for staff for when they retire and are presently working with a number of potential pension fund scheme to establish a full contribution company supported pension scheme for all staff who wish to take up such an opportunity.

Employee Discounts

HBS provide an employee discount on purchases savings staff 10% on all products purchased from any of our branches.

Holidays

Pharmacists and management staff are entitled to 25 days’ holiday whilst all other staff 20 days holiday in addition to their statutory bank holidays.

Professional Fees

Professional engagement are necessary for regulated reform and CPD and hence in lieu of this HBS will reimburse in full the fees paid for any one professional body that staff hold membership for either as a full time employee or are employed exclusively by the company regardless of hours.
